Welcome to Insightful Eyes Counseling PLLC!

I am Sonya Davis, LCSW, a licensed therapist in the state of Arizona

I am happy to offer outpatient individual therapy sessions to those who are residing in Arizona. Lets find out if I may be a good match for you and your therapy needs.

About Me

Hello! I’m a proud Arizona native, having been born and raised in this beautiful state, where I have also chosen to raise my own family. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University, I have had the privilege of gaining invaluable experience through internships, volunteering, supervision, and independent work that have honed my skills as a mental health therapist. As a member of the legally blind community (blindness is a spectrum), I bring a unique insight to my practice, allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level. I genuinely love what I do and am here to explore whether I can be the right fit for your therapy needs.

Levels of Care in Mental Health

Knowing the appropriate level of care for you to get help.

Outpatient Therapy, a non-residential treatment option for people who are seeking mental health support but don't need 24/7 care. It's a good fit for people who have mild to moderate symptoms and can still function outside of treatment. Outpatient therapy can also be beneficial for people who are going through difficult life changes, such as divorce, trauma, or the loss of a loved one.

*Offered at this practice

Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP) may be a good fit for people who have a mental health and/or substance use disorder and need more than weekly outpatient therapy but don't require inpatient care. IOPs can also be recommended after completing more intensive treatments like inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), or residential treatment programs (RTPs)

*NOT OFFERED AT THIS PRACTICE

Inpatient or Residential Therapy provides the highest level of care in a secure facility with constant monitoring, ideal for individuals with severe mental health issues. Residential treatment centers (RTCs) offer a slightly less intensive environment for those needing structured support for mental health, substance use, or behavioral challenges. RTCs are different than hospitals because they provide 24-hour care and therapy, which can lead to effective long-term recovery from various mental health challenges.

Out of Network Therapist (Insurance reimbursement)

Since this practice is not currently paneled with all insurances, you could consider doing out-of-network reimbursement with your insurance. We've partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya is perfect if you:

• Have out-of-network benefits

• Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance

• Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement

• Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork!

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/insightfuleyescounselingpllc

2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.

3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

4. You get reimbursed by insurance for the cost of your therapy session! (*Average back is 62%, meaning of $150 therapy session, you could get back $93)

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, (ex: if your therapist charges $150, we charge $7.50/claim) which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

It's risk-free: Mentaya guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of Mentaya’s fees.
